Throwback Thursday / Beastie Boys Cassette Tape
Welcome to a new weekly feature here on the blog. Throwback Thursday has been an instagram "thing" for awhile now and I think it's great. But I'm going to elaborate on it, by making a weekly personal photography project. Every week, I'll be choosing something old, photographing it and sharing it not only instagram, but here on the blog also. I own lots of old stuff and I own photography equipment, so this shouldn't be too hard. However, I'm going to set some limitations for myself so that I can keep it up. I will spend no more than 15 minutes creating the photos. (Shooting and editing). I will also be very brief in my description, writing no more than a few sentences about what it is and why it is important to me. (Present blog post excluded for obvious reasons). So here goes.
You don't see cassette tapes too often anymore, unless you're at Goodwill, your local flea market or a junkyard. I only own one, as a matter of fact and it's pictured here. My first car was a 1988 Honda Accord and I remember listening to this album, windows down and volume up. Way up. I'm sure I owned others but this one survived.
