It never ceases to amaze me the local talent I discover as a working photographer. One of my recent photo shoots for Arkansas Made Magazine led me to Springdale, Arkansas where Shirepost Mint has been making custom fantasy coins since 2001. I had a blast touring their facility, hearing the story of how their business started and how it grew to receive national and worldwide attention. Fayetteville Arkansas knows how to throw a good party. (And not just of the college variety) Case in point, their First Thursday events that happen every first Thursday of the month during the warmer seasons in Arkansas. Their last one for the year was last week and I had the opportunity to attend it and photograph it. They also debuted their new Veoride Bike Share Program, making the city even more bike-friendly (which I didn’t think was possible). Party on, Fayetteville.
