Spring BRAKE Feature | U of A School of Art

One of the most dramatic changes brought about by the rise of Covid-19 was in the everyday life of students. Right around the week of Spring Break, schools of all levels began preparations to move classes online for the duration of the spring semester. In a matter of days, students went from in-person classes and on-campus socializing to saying swift goodbyes, moving home and transitioning to classes via computer screens.

In the midst of uncertainty, everyone has to adapt to new routines and new ways of life and there’s no doubt the students from the University of Arkansas’s School of Art are putting their creative minds to work for the betterment of themselves and those around them. A good example of this is faculty member Vincent Edwards, an instructor and head of the 3D printing lab. Vincent is putting his skills and the resources of the 3D printing lab to work for local healthcare workers and there’s no doubt that the Covid-19 Pandemic will in fact, bring about some inspiring and effective inventions and designs.

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to work with the University’s Art Department to not only document events and create faculty portraits, but also to create marketing images for the various programs they offer. Today on the blog, we’re sharing some of the images we’ve created over the years.

Enjoy.
