A Spring BRAKE Message / Northwest Arkansas Commercial Photography

It seems surreal to be writing a blog post during these unprecedented times. Just 2 weeks ago, the signs of spring and the workload that typically follows, was buzzing with activity and promise. And then, everything literally stopped.

Literally.

Stopped.

In the days that followed, some really sad things happened. And by comparison, lots of good things happened too. And that continues to be the norm; harsh, difficult-to-comprehend statistics mixed with stories of people rising above the doom and gloom to have virtual dance parties, share with others in need and help the rest of us see that there is more to life than the current news headlines.

As a creative business, it’s hard to make sense of this time and what to do with it. It’s easy to feel scared, hopeless and very anxious about the future. But the responsibility (and flexibility) of being a creative business is and has always been, to creatively adapt to the ever-changing economic landscape, the clients that you serve, and the challenging scenarios you will inevitably find yourself in.

This time is no different.

So we are challenging ourselves to use this time of certain slowness to educate ourselves further in the mediums and technologies that we use to create while also sharing, caring and helping our fellow small businesses out when we can.

Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring some clients and small businesses that we sincerely miss. Some will bounce back after all of this settles and some may not. But they should all be celebrated nonetheless. We are also working on some personal projects, for fun and for the betterment of our creative capabilities. We’ll be sharing those here as well.

Officially, we are practicing safe social distancing protocols and washing our hands religiously. And we look forward to the time when things will stabilize and we can once again, gather and create and continue to push our dreams forward. In the meantime, follow along here or on our other social media channels as we promote some of our favorite clients and small businesses and share some of our fun creations.

6ft away cheers, friends.
