Monument Trails - Hobbs

If you ride bikes and live in Northwest Arkansas then you've probably been to Hobbs State Park.  But if you haven’t been to ride the new Monument Trails at Hobbs then you’ve been missing out. With a grant from the Walton Family Foundation, Hobbs, the Arkansas Parks and Recreation Foundation and Rouge Trails worked together to bring some new trails to the already impressive system.  We worked with 4Media Group to make a few images for the new trails.

If you start at the visitors' center, take the connector trails you can access the two downhills Sawtooth and Timberjack (1 mile each).  Then take the tunnel connector to Wolf Pen (east or west) for a fun flow ride down to Karst Loop.  After a few miles on Karst Loop you'll come to some beautiful views of exposed rock cropping above Beaver Lake.  Altogether the new additions add almost 20 miles of trail to the area.  These trails were built for both beginning and seasoned cyclist as well as hikers.

*At the time these images were taken Karst Loop was multi directional but has since been changed to be ridden only counter clockwise.
