Beauty amidst the Chaos

​"Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains."  Those lyrics are especially haunting this morning, in light of yesterday's events. Although I've lived and worked in Arkansas for the past 12+ years, I am an official "Okie". I was born and raised in the city of Tulsa, until I moved here for college and then, work. There's something deeply personal about a tragedy that hits in a place you call home, even if you didn't live in that particular city. But the positive side to tragedy are the stories that unfold and inspire hope and change in the rest of us. So today, we mourn with those affected, but we also look for beauty amidst the chaos.
